WHO WE ARE

(Geração Justa) Righteous Generation, is an international ministry called by the Lord to proclaim the Gospel of Christ. The Righteous Generation team takes words of life and repentance, teaching people in all of Brazil and in other nations, to guard their hearts, and live a righteous lives, and to seek the Lord’s face.

OUR BELIEFS

The Bible:  All of the Scriptures contained in the Bible are totally inspired by God.  We believe that God reveals to humanity through the Scriptures;  that the Scriptures are infallible and contain no possibility of mistakes; and that the Scriptures represent the will of God to guide our faith, beliefs, and our way of life.  (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Thes. 2:13, 2 Pe. 1:21)

God:  There is only One True God.  He is the Creator of the heavens and earth, and is the only One to redeem, save, and rescue humanity from sin and its painful consequences.  God revealed himself as the only God, but at the same time,  in three people:  God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit of God.  Therefore, we believe in the Trinity.  (Gen. 1:1;  Isa. 43:11;  Deut. 6:4, Mt. 28:19, Lk 3:22).

Jesus Christ:  The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has always existed.  To accomplish His sacfricial mission on Earth, He became man, born of a virgin, being conceived by the Holy Spirit of God.  He lived a perfect life, absolutely free of sin.  When he lived on the earth, He accomplished many miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit.  To rescue fallen humanity,  He died on the cross, as a substitute for the sins of each person.  He resurrected through the supernatural power of God, and since His resurrection, has been exalted and seated at the right hand of God the Father.  (Mt. 1:23; Lk. 1:31; Heb. 7:26; 1 Pet. 2:22; Acts 10:38; 1 Cor. 15:3; Mt. 28:6; Lk. 24:39; I Cor. 6:14; 1 Cor. 15:4; Acts 1:9-11, 2:33; Phil. 2:9-11; Heb. 1:3).

Humanity:  Man was created good, and in the resemblance of God.  However, man, using the liberty given by the Creator, decided to ignore his direction, choosing to become involved in what was bad.  As a result of sin, man fell short of the glory of God, experiencing not only a physical death, but also a spiritual death, which is separation from God.  (Gen. 1:26-27, 2:17, 3:6; Rom. 5:12-19).

Salvation:  Salvation is liberation of spiritual death.  God made salvation for all that believe and accept freely the offer of forgiveness.  Salvation is gained by those that repent before God of their sins, and believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who was victorious over death, and freed us from sin and death.  From the moment of salvation, mankind becomes an heir of God, and co-heir in Christ, with living hope and eternal life.  (Lk. 24:47; Jn. 3:3; Rom. 10:13-15; Eph. 2:8;  Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).

Eternal Life:  Man was created to live forever.  He can live forever, through the forgiveness or sin and salvation.  To be eternally separated from God; means Hell.  To be in communion with God, means Heaven.  Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.  (Jn. 3:16; Rom. 6:23; 1 Jn. 5:11-13; Rev. 20:11-15).

OUR MISSION

To Reach:  The Holy Spirit, working through the apostle Paul, in his letter to the Romans, chapter 10, verse 14, challenges us with the statement of how people can hear about Jesus Christ, if there is no one to preach.

Evangelism is the heart of the Ministry of Geração Justa (Righteous Generation), and the act of evangelization can, and should, occur in various forms such as theatre, song, approaching individuals, tracks, medical treatment, distribution of food and clothes, and through outreaches.  We use all ways available to preach Jesus Christ, through all forms possible.

To Train:  The Lord Jesus, before sending out the twelve disciples, gave instruction on what to do, and trained them (Mt. 10:5).

God has called people from their own nations to win their own people.  Training is the key to action on the mission field in today’s times.  With this reality, we are hosting conferences, teaching in bible schools and in the local church.  Our objective is  to train leaders, and prepare future leaders, so that with this good training, they can impact their nation.  As part of the bible training course, books and recorded audio and video, and all the  materials needed for training are made available.

To Confirm:  New converts need to be confirmed and trained in the faith, so that they can develop well in the Christian life.  They need a local church where they can connect and learn about the plan of God for their lives, and they need to bare fruit.  (Jn. 15:2).  Our objective is to have a relationship with the local church, so that people can be reached and restored through the ministry of Geração Justa (Righteous Generation), as well as grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (2 Pe. 3:18).

To Act:  The preaching of the Gospel needs to be aligned with living out of the Gospel.  This is the teaching and challenge that we take from the Lord Jesus, which he announced in Matthew 25:34-40.

Each day the media shows us images.  These same images can also be seen in our own neighborhoods.  We see children that cry because of famine.  We see people suffering losses due to war.  There is urban violence, and families without shelter due to natural disasters.  There are people living in poverty.  And, many of our youth are wandering about without hope.  Sometimes we forget that behind each picture, there is a real person that is suffering, and is in need of help and hope.  When people are suffering, they are more receptive to hear a message which shows that someone really cares about them.  The people at the ministry of Geração Justa (Righteous Generation), really do care.
